Slip the SleepSack Swaddle wearable blanket over your baby's regular sleepwear as a replacement to loose blankets in the crib. You may want to put a short or long sleeve bodysuit or a coverall on underneath the wearable blanket depending on your nursery temperature. Don't put your baby to sleep wearing a hat, as this can result in overheating. Secure the swaddle wrap around your baby using the fastener strips. You may choose to use the swaddle feature with arms in or arms out.
Our SleepSack Swaddle is made of the highest-grade fabrics available which will remain durable through many washings. It should be washed with like colors, and tumbled dry on low heat. Remember to close the fastener strips on the swaddle wrap before washing to prevent it from attaching to other items in the wash. It is also recommended to close the zipper and turn inside-out before laundering.
It is sleeveless to reduce the chance of baby overheating and is easier to be worn with regular sleepwear underneath.
The zipper is inverted to allow you to unzip the SleepSack Swaddle from the bottom for easy diaper changes. There is no need to disrobe or unswaddle your sleeping baby.
HALO DOES NOT recommend using a SleepSack Wearable Blanket that does not correspond to your baby’s current size. The purpose of the wearable blanket is to keep your baby from having any excess material that may bunch up around the baby’s nose or mouth. If the baby is wearing a wearable blanket that is too large, there is a potential for the baby's head to slip through the neck hole or for excess material to bunch up around his or her face.
The SleepSack Swaddle replaces loose blankets in the crib that can cover a baby’s face and interfere with breathing. It also helps reduce the risk of baby overheating.
HALO has found that the SleepSack Swaddle is suitable for a wide range of temperatures by adjusting the clothing you put on your baby underneath the wearable blanket. It keeps them comfortable in all but the warmest rooms. They can wear anything from just a diaper underneath the SleepSack Swaddle to a coverall or sleeper. Many parents have reported that their babies sleep better with the SleepSack Swaddle since they stay covered all night long.

It is the perfect fit for our tiny girl but for some reason this one is not a double zipper like the other halo sleep sacks we own.
