A cousin of mine who lives in Italy had a premature baby. His name is Giacomino and as I write he is still in the hospital and the incubator. They wrote to me looking for a pacifier that would be good for their baby (who was born at 6 and a half months) because my understanding is that it’s not very easy to find there. The shape of this pacifier is amazing for tiny preemies. NICU staff advised me to find a small pacifier for my baby in order to help him to achieve the sucking motion and start feeding. I had heard good things about this pacifier from a friend and when I learned I was going to have a premature birth I got a couple. The Nicu used one almost immediately and I have carried on with it - my little one has taken to it and it is giving her great comfort.
