KicKee Pants expands to Micro-Preemie

We would like to introduce you to a Brand new to the Preemie Store. KicKee Pants is a bright, fun, unique, and super soft bamboo line which started just down the street from us in Bainbridge Island, WA. They have carried a preemie size for many years, this year they added a Micro-preemie size which we are very excited about. The preemie size is rated 4-7lbs and the micro-preemie is 3-5lbs. The size difference is not the only difference between these two footies. The micro-preemie also offers plastic snap closures which work wonderfully for a preemie in a warmer bed. The metal snaps can warm up and create an issue on preemie's tender skin. The inside of the footie is also lined with soft fleece which helps keep little toes warm and cozy. Both sizes have fold-over mittens for little hands.

KicKee Pants also is different than many lines that deliver only new fabrics twice a year. The owner of KicKee Pants wanted to provide more options for parents, so we will have updated prints 6 times a year, plus super fun prints for Christmas.
