My 3lb. 7.7 oz. preemie daughter is a feisty little warrior. In the NICU, she constantly pulled out her feeding tube and pulled off her nasal cannula. My aunt purchased these for us knowing we were going to deliver at 34 weeks or less. They fit her sweet little hands so well, and the elastic wrist band hugged her little arm perfectly. They stayed on her very comfortably, so we didn't have to worry with her pulling out her tubes and wires. 10/10 highly recommend for preemie babies, especially!
These mittens are prefecture perfect, although they definitely wouldn't fit a 1-3 pound baby. My little girl is 5 pounds and these are the perfect fit for her. The preemie ones I bought are huge.
