Beautiful gown - very simple and tasteful for a difficult loss. My only comment is that the hanging tag on the gown has the cheerful brand name "Itty Bitty Baby". I cut this off before giving it as a gift to the grieving couple. You may want to consider NOT sending it directly as a gift to someone experiencing a loss, but ship it to yourself first and cut off the tag before gifting.
Quick back story, I delivered my son prematurely at 21 wks, meaning that he didn’t make it. Fortunately the hospital let us spend much needed quality time with him (almost 2 days) they put on a tiny beanie and he was wrapped in a tiny blanket I’m sure because they had nothing that would fit him. After being released from the hospital we started planning for his funeral, and I really wanted to find an outfit for him. Thankfully Preemie Store exists and after some searching I was able to come across their website. It is so heartwarming that they’re able to do this for so many preemies, before my experience I wasn’t aware of the need for tiny clothes. Needles to say I placed my order and received it right on time. Everything was so precious and the quality is really amazing, and most importantly it fit my baby boy. Thank you for doing this, creating clothes for little beings. It’s the little big things that matter, as a parent I truly appreciate it.
Loved White Bereavement Set
I ordered this in preparation of my baby being delivered at 23 weeks. He was just over 1lb. The gown was a bit long but still fit him with room for a bigger baby to fit too. The hat was an awkward fit but we put the ties in the back and set it on his head. I ordered mitts as well and they worked fine. We cremated baby with gown and 1 mitt, we kept the hat and 1 mitt. After shipping to Canada it was really expensive for what it was but if I'm only able to buy my baby 1 thing, then I didn't mind how much it cost. Great quality. Nurses even commented on how nice it was and amazed it fit baby so well. Thank you for making items like this for tiny babies.
